HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY and other people who are reading this for some reason!!!!!  This week was a whirlwind of getting to know my new sector, my new comp, my new zone, all the things, and also of milagros!! It kind of feels like Thanksgiving just kinda didnt happen (welcome to this letter where i will not be putting in apostrophes because spanish keyboards be like that and im not on my phone, but on a computer!!)  Monday I spent 13 hours in a bus from Calama to Vallenar, and got to meet the whole zone within an hour of being here! Its a super small zone because its just all the missionaries here in vallenar with one companionship of elders that live in a little town thats like 30 minutes or so away. We have our senior missionaries here and they live two doors down from us, which is really nice because... (and I discovered this within like 12 hours of living here...) our oven doesnt work. So im always over at the Pierces, stealing their oven! We are hoooooping that maybe we can get

Vellenar, I think she likes it!   Heres a list of random things that have happened this week: •Quarantine without electricity and water  •Early cambios because chile and I went to vallenar  •We put together a ton of stuff bc now there's elders in rio loa and said goodbye to everyone  •We all cried lol  •I baked a ton cuz I was stressed  •13 hr bus ride overnight  Hermana Griffin and Hermana Garcia To explain a bit better about a couple things:  We were stuck in Quarantine for a good 6 days, and then on the last day of quarantine we ran out of drinking water.... and then the power went out, and stayed out for 24 hours!!! At some point our phone was pretty much dead so we just like rested and I crocheted random stuff for our friends  Chile has a weird government thing where no one can travel today. I don't know why. So we left a day or two early. And I went to vallenar which is the southmost part of my mission!! It's green here!!!  They put elders in my ward lol.  Hermana Gri

Megabed!   Holaaaa,  Weird soup You heard it here first... this weeks letter.. featuringgggg COVIDDD. I've been in quarantine for 3 days now and I have at least 2 more... and I don't even have covid!!! But my comp does. And it has hit her hard, poor thing. The law in Chile is that only the person with symptoms has to quarantine, but she's my comp, so I can't leave her here without me and I can't go anywhere without her. Today I'm going to go shopping with one of the other hermanas in our apartment so I'm looking forward to leaving this place for the first time in a few days!!  Heres what went down this week:  Monday and tuesday were normal days with lessons and all that, and Tuesday we found out that one of our friends in teaching is a drug trafficker, her daughters are prostitutes (including the 10 year old, which ia horrifying), and a few days ago someone was shot there... not that the police have done anything, just we have a different friend that lives t

This week was a whole different kind of interesting... $15300 pecos pizza Monday was halloween, and honestly it's almost the same here as it is back home. Except it's actually less dangerous here on halloween because there's a ton of people outside until super late. We had this cool miracle where this guy who was pretty darnos conentious over the phone, was one of the nicest people ever in person. I don't know what the deal was with that, but he told us he's going to pray about and read the book of mormon, so we'll see if that turns out! We have to pass him to elders though because he lives just BARELY outside of our sector :(  Tuesday we had intercambios and it was sooo fun!!! Hna Sorenson and I get along really well, and she has less time in the mission than me so it's really a game of following the spirit and doing our best and letting the Lord make up the rest. We taught a really good lesson in the morning that went like an hour long... and the rest of
