  THIS WEEK WAS SO FAST  Ok so heres some random things that happened:  This random satan worshipping lady invited us to be prostitutes with her... but I didn't understand her. So she's way ahead of us and is carrying this giant stick! And we see her light this pile of trash on fire and immediately decide to cross over to the other side of the road... BUT, she stops and starts coming towards us, with her giant stick!! So we weren't sure what to do, and she starts talking to us. We walked with her a little ways, and she said a loooottt of things, but the weirdest thing happened. (For like 1-2 months now I've been able to understand aaaalmost everything that people say to me.) When she was talking to us, I didn't understand ANYTHING she said. Helloooo  I almost didn't even write an email this week, but I know if I get out of habit I'm just gonna stop writing them and that would be terrible!! So here I am writing haha.  Some little miracles we've seen:  ○we found a little grove of trees to do social media and calls in. It's very cute!!  ○one of our friends said he wouldn't pray to know if any of it was true... because he already knew it was! We invited him to pray anyways  ○an elder had a duck in his bag... I also had a duck in my bag, that's all, that's the miracle!  ○I got asked to speak in church... while playing prelude! The miracle is that I had actually been studying all week about how best to help the ward have more unity!! And was able to give a good talk about it.  More than anything I spoke about the importance of loving others and doing so through service.  Is it long? Not really. Is it more than nothing?? YES!  I love you guys!! I pray for you all the time xo-hna griffin   

  Hello!!  You're never gonna believe this... I wrote a short letter this week!!!  On Tuesday we went to this house of this suuuuper wealthy member for lunch, and I've heard the lunches are tasty but tiny, so I was prepared for that. She gave us salmon and rice, and it was pretty good, definitely fancy. But the part that was weird was, the moment I got there I was like, wow how beautiful your house, and it was definitely the first time I had been there... but she was insistent that I had been there before during intercambios... but I had definitely NEVER been inside her house before. Hna Tommy did, but me, no. So the whole time she was referencing the last time I was in her house, and I was just like... oh, sorry, I don't remember... (because it wasn't me!!!) But anyways.  Every morning we have a phone call with the zone to say our morning prayer together. So it's usually 5 minutes or less for the phone call- 30 seconds to do announcements, 1-2 minutes for someone t

  This week was interesting  I'll explain... no no there's too much, let me sum up.  The entire week we were kinda burned out of this sector and looking forward to a change... basically our sector looks like this every day:  Do all the morning things (exercise, study, get ready), set up appointments in the morning, do some other things, lunch with a member family, and then lessons all afternoon, with some finding and other things... sounds simple enough right??? Well. No. Our sector is huuuuge, so we do more walking than actual working. I think we walk like at least 10-15 miles a day, if not more. And with all of this walking I have blisters and sore feet and sore legs and sore back. I have already broken 2 out of my 3 shoes and the third pair are on their way out if I'm being honest. (I'm gonna buy some hush puppies this week, hopefully they'll hold up!!) The worst part is... we usually set up the appointments a few days in advance, and then we call and remind them

  CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT GENERAL CONFERENCE????  Cuz like woowwww, that was my favorite general conference I've ever seen. Maybe it was because I was actually prepared, paying attention, taking notes, and seeking inspiration, aaaand also I'm a missionary, or maybe that's an everyone feeling. Without going into toooo much depth and using entirely too many words, here were some patterns I noticed as I listened and pondered:  We need to check our priorities- your number 1 priority should be God!! When we put Him first, everything else falls into place!!  Loving others is soooo important!! After every session, I have a little section in my notes to write patterns I noticed, and THIS was in every session!!!  Make covenants, and keep them. Along with this, spend time in the temple! My dear friends, the closest temple to me right now is a 15+ hour bus ride one way, and I won't have the opportunity to visit one for over a year. Please don't take for granted the temple that&
