Early morning flight - heading out the front door! Hey mom, just wanted to let you know I made it... I also hate Mexican keyboards... things are in the wrong place!  It sounds like they're counting today as our p day... so i won't get to talk to you until a week from Thursday ughh. but it's ok. It's been a super long day-flights were lengthy but I met lots of cool people. I also was able to get to know some sisters in my district a little better. 06/10/22 Letter from Mission President -- Katie has arrived!

Dear   Missionary   Family ,   This  letter  is to  inform   you  that  your   missionary   has   arrived   safely  to  Antofagasta . Sister Larsen and I are very grateful to be here to be able to serve with the missionaries in the work of the Lord. We know that  you  are concerned for their well-being and happiness here in the mission. 1/9/23 Sickness and I love Hermana Sorenson

  Heyyyy  So Vallenar is my happy place. Especially with hermana Sorenson    With that being said, I was super sick this week hahahahahahaha.  Tuesday we woke up with the sunshine, excited for our new companionship and I was especially so excited to show her around vallenar! We went shopping in the morning, worked all day, she got to know some people, it was really good!  Wednesday we went to our meetings in the morning and like halfway through the meeting I started to feel just so lethargic and tired... and cold. But ya know, I kept focused, took notes and everything! And then when the meeting was over I was like heyy hna Sorenson, I don't feel so good... and I'm so so cold, are you cold??  She was not cold.  We went to our apartment and took my temperature... 99.8! Fever! Yeah so I went ahead and slept for the most of the rest of the day. I couldn't even really put together coherent sentences to help my poor compi in this sector where she had on...
