07/19/22 Chao to one Perez, hello to another!!

ok I don't have a lot of time

-Tuesday we went to antofa and met the president and it was a good time

-Wednesday we didn't get completos, but we did have empanadas

-Thursday we had had lessons and they went well!!

-Friday we had lessons and our gospel principles class and our less active friend came (long story short he's been inactive for like 4 years)

-Saturday we had lunch with the stake president and our less active friend came to that as well, and then we had to say goodbye to hna mcconaghie because she's going home, which was super sad but were happy for her of course! And then we were in a trio for the rest of the weekend. We also got transfer calls and contrary to what I thought before, we get to keep elders in our ward!! But our Elder Perez is going to Alto Hospicio so we had to say goodbye to him today (monday)

-Sunday we went to church in the ward of our third hermana in our trio because she had a lot going on... and while we weren't there one of our friends became best friends with one of our recent converts which was absolutely a miracle!!! We're having lunch with both of them this Thursday!!!

-Today we got a new friend named hermana perez (as the comp of hermana smith) and she's super sweet!!! we also did the usual p day things so not anything special...

Honestly this is a good week to not have a lot of time to write because I don't super feel like writing and not a lot happened worth writing about.

My favorite thing from personal study was in 1 Nephi 15, where Nephi is talking to his brothers. I was thinking that it's so easy to see how the Lord has blessed their lives and how when they're not doing what's right, things go badly... but then I was thinking that maybe that's because I have the perspective of the whole story and the whole of God's plans and patterns for them in my head... so I was thinking, how often do we get so in our head about a particular moment and think about all the hard things of right now, while forgetting all the spiritual and wonderful moments we've had in the past? The worst thing is when we're complaining against the Lord without even asking for His help. So let's work on trusting the Lord and remembering the blessings of the past and asking for help when we're struggling.

That's all for now!!
