01/02/23 Another cambio en el desierto florido (and I'm so happy!!)

 Heyyy cabros que pasa

My new year's resolution is to be more positive... I'm positive this letter will be way too long hahahahahaha

Week 6 went by like a literal blur! I didn't even realize it was the day of cambios on Saturday until I saw missed calls from our AP!!

Tuesday we went over to this little old lady's house to help with her family history, and then it turned out that she already had an account... which was attached to an email address which she no longer has access to... and a phone number that no longer exists... so it said to talk to the ward clerk, who is the most technologically old fashioned guy I know. Long story short (too late), it's gonna be a while before we can access her account πŸ˜

Wednesday we had intercambios with the hermanas from Copiapo (they came here to Vallenar). It was good!! We found some people to teach (specifically this crazy guy who wants to Bible bash. I intend to go into that lesson and bare testimony and invite him to read for himself the book of mormon... not to argue, just testify and invite. If he's not interested that's that!!)
And we also had some fun speaking English- i was with hermana Cabrera, she's a Chilean but she speaks really good English and loves to practice!

Thursday we had an amazing lesson with MAITTE!! And we went to the farthest part of our sector which kinda sucked, and no one wanted to hear anything, but its all good, we're being positiveπŸ™Œ
In the evening we had English class and we had a little party afterwards which was super fun!! Lots of cookies πŸͺwe also found these really cool people who wanna come to church next week!!!

Friday we had a duper powerful lesson with oscar and irma which went beautifully, and they almost accepted Fechas, had tears in their eyes and everything, I KNOW they were feeling the spirit, but they didn't. It was really sad. In the evening we had an fhe with MACHY, who is one of my favorite Chileans on earth. She told us her conversion storyπŸ’•

Saturday we received cambios and my comp is.... LA SOREY, HNA SORENSON!!!! I was so excited (still am!!!!) And la GarcΓa got transferred to CALAMAπŸ’œ she was not happy lol. Calama has the reputation for being very dry and very ugly and no one wants to go there (even though I LOVED IT THERE!!!) But yeah she wasn't happy.
In the evening we made arepas and had floats with pineapple soda and fanta, and hung out with the Pierces, which might be against the rules but it's fine πŸ˜…

Sunday we had a baptism in the branch which went super well!!! Hna Pierce made brownies which were gone soooo fast haha!!
In the afternoon we were packing and getting ready to go for hna GarcΓa!! It was a crazy day. She is always late and almost missed her bus πŸ˜… late to the very end.
Then I was a nomad. There are no other hermanas so I was hanging out with the Pierces for a full 25 hours. It was kinda weird. But good.

Today I cleaned the apartment for like 6 hours and hung out with hna Pierce😊 and just barely my compi arrived!!! .

Thats the week!!

Love you all!!
